The power of incumbency prevailed for all of Georgia’s superior court judges save one: Griffin Circuit Judge Tommy Hankinson was ousted from the seat he’s held for 14 years by circuit District Attorney Scott Ballard.

Ballard, who has been DA for the four-county circuit since his 2004 election, drew 55.3 percent of the vote to Hankinson’s 44.7 percent.
