In response to the announcement that the Fulton County Magistrate Court will suspend its operations at the county’s North and South Annex Service Centers, Fulton State Court Judge Myra Dixon said that traffic cases handled by the state court will continue to be heard at the annexes.

Fulton County Superior and Magistrate Court Clerk Cathelene “Tina” Robinson and Chief Magistrate Cassandra Kirk announced this week that due to a “recent budget deficit,” the magistrate court would suspend its operations at the annexes as of Feb. 15. The statement said services including preliminary hearings, abandoned vehicle reports, dispossessory filings, garnishments, small claims, personal property foreclosures and other court functions will no longer be available at the service centers.
