As candidates are being considered for new positions on the Georgia Court of Appeals, the state may be due for at least one more superior court judge next year as well.

The Judicial Council of Georgia approved a request for a new judge in Clayton County Superior Court during a meeting in Macon Sept. 30, the council announced. The wining case for the new position was made by Clayton Chief Judge Albert Collier.
