A mother whose son was killed in a drive-by shooting and a surviving son wounded in the attack have settled their claims against a southwest Atlanta apartment complex for $2.9 million.

The agreement, which followed two failed mediations, was reached more than three years after 20-year-old Jamar Lucas died from five gunshot wounds, and his brother, 18-year-old Dominique, was hit in the arm and foot at the Wells Court Apartments off of Campbellton Road.
