On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to congratulate the 249 law firms and other entities in the legal profession that joined together to raise and contribute a total of 842,317 pounds of food to the state’s seven regional food banks during the second annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy.

Led by Attorney General Sam Olens and the State Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy was a true team effort, working with the Georgia Food Bank Association to help meet the food assistance needs of children and families across the state going into the summer months. This year’s total pounds collected represent a 38 percent increase over last year.
