Expansion remains the byword of this employment law boutique that was founded in Atlanta in 1977. The firm recently opened a San Diego office and plans to open offices in London and China this year, said managing shareholder Kim Ebert. The firm continues to benefit from the Obama administrations labor policies with its emphasis on labor enforcement actions and from a growing number of wage and hour suits that are being filed against employers across the nation. And as states have passed more stringent immigration laws and placed on employers the responsibility of ferreting out undocumented laborers seeking work, Ogletree has developed what Ebert described as one of the largest immigration practices in the country.
