Business boomed for a very nice 2010, said managing partner Roger K. Quillen. The firm opened two small offices in Phoenix and Washington, and expanded in other markets including California. The firm gave all of its associates an 8 percent raise, with 4 percent in the form of a raise in starting salaries from $115,000 to $120,000, and the other 4 percent provided in end-of-year meets bonus payouts. The firm has raised its standard rate by about 3 percent, said Quillen, and expects to grow by roughly 5 percent in 2011, as a result of increased market share and reducing expenses, not by higher rates.
