Howard took a respite from his heavy schedule on Wednesday for a celebration and then on Thursday he and his nephew, Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard, toured several Atlanta schools and gave awards to students for academic achievement. Howard even had time to reflect on his own youthful athletic prowess, recalling that he played basketball and football in high school in southeast Georgia. He joked that he’s now a “certified hack” on the golf course.
