udicial candidates are properly forbidden from making pledges or promises regarding future rulings, other than to be fair and impartial. But the questionnaire developed by the Georgia Christian Coalition, which merely asks if a candidate agrees “most” with the majority or dissenting opinion in certain Supreme Court cases, is a perfectly appropriate vehicle for obtaining information about the general political views and legal philosophies of candidates.
