Lizanne Thomas will become the new leader for Jones Day’s Atlanta office, effective the first of next year.
She will replace George T. Manning, the partner-in-charge for Atlanta since 2000, who is moving to Dallas to run the firm’s office there, also effective Jan. 1. Jones Day, which has about 2,300 lawyers, is the nation’s fourth-highest-grossing firm, according to the 2007 Am Law 100 survey.
