Under intense security, a jury hearing a murder trial in Cobb County Superior Court this week will be asked to decide between the prosecution’s case for a gang-inspired vengeance shooting and the defense team’s story of a big brother protecting his younger sibling.

The Sifuentes brothers of Powder Springs-Gerardo, 22, whose street name is “Frosty,” and Eduardo, 17, whose street name is “Speedy” -are on trial for malice murder, aggravated assault, criminal street gang activity and theft of a firearm.
