Stephen B. Kaplan, the former CompuCredit assistant general counsel who became well known to the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Georgia chapter by creating and organizing a popular charity golf and tennis event, has taken a new job in Orlando.

Kaplan started work this month as senior vice president and managing director for legal with Connextions Inc. Founded in 1992 and growing steadily, Connextions provides technology-based business process solutions for a number of well-known corporations, including Kaiser Permanente, FedEx and Sprint. About 40 percent of the company’s revenue comes from business process outsourcing for health care customers, according to Kaplan.
