With one month to go before voting in the state Court of Appeals race, former state senator Perry J. McGuire has the most money on hand. But he has turned in one of the weakest showings among the seven candidates in terms of raising money from someone other than himself.

In disclosure reports for the quarter that ended Sept. 30, McGuire reports having $214,815 on hand, by far the most of the candidates. But of the $232,610 he has raised overall, $200,000 was a loan he made to his campaign in June.
