ATLANTA AP – A convicted felon who led police on a car chase through a residential area of East Point and rammed a detective’s vehicle head-on has been sentenced to 19 years in federal prison for possession of a firearm.

U.S. District Court Judge William S. Duffey Jr. also sentenced 29-year-old Tremayne Deon Crawford of Atlanta Wednesday to five years of supervised release. Crawford was convicted by a jury on May 1 of being an armed career criminal.
