Immigration attorney Rebecca L. Sigmund has joined labor and employment boutique Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart from Powell Goldstein as a shareholder, bringing her immigration team with her.
Sigmund, who had been the only immigration partner at Powell Goldstein, said the labor and employment boutique offers “a platform more supportive to immigration work” than a general practice firm. “It’s an area where you really have to work with colleagues because there are so many gray areas-and they are happening weekly in immigration,” she said.
