Gov. Nathan Deal’s reconstituted Judicial Nominating Commission has made a change in how it vets candidates. A JNC committee of three members reviewed nominations for two openings on the DeKalb State Court and formed a medium list of nominees that will now be interviewed by the full JNC.

The 15 people under consideration are Akintunde A. Akinyele, Scott L. Bonder, Todd S. Boyce, Stacey K. Hydrick, Asha F. Jackson, Gregory J. Lohmeier, Nicole D. Marchand, Johnny W. Mason Jr., Matthew J. McCoyd, Ronald B. Ramsey Sr., Stefan E. Ritter, Eleanor L. Ross, A. Thomas Stubbs, Christopher W. Timmons and J. Natalie Wilkes. These names were culled from more than 50 lawyers nominated.
