Am Law 200 firm Thompson Coburn has entered the Southeast, hiring a former education practice leader and three other higher education litigators from Maynard Nexsen.

Litigators Tres Cleveland, Brandt Hill and Evan Moltz will join the firm as the first attorneys in its new Birmingham, Alabama, office. Meanwhile, higher education regulatory and transactional attorney Roger Swartzwelder is joining in its Washington, D.C., office.
