After being appointed in 2021 by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve the remainder of retiring Judge Nancy N. Bills’ terms, Chief Judge Clarence Cuthpert Jr. resigned his post on March 1. Now Cuthpert’s seeking election to the Rockdale County Superior Court to replace retiring Chief Judge Robert Mumford.
But when Cuthpert qualified for the judicial race on March 4, so too did Rockdale County Juvenile Court Judge Maureen Wood.
