After being appointed by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve the remainder of retiring Atlanta Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Christopher S. Brasher’s term in December 2022, Judge Scott F. McAfee is now seeking election to the Fulton County Superior Court.
The incumbent, who’s been in the national spotlight as the judge over former President Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case, qualified for the judicial race on March 5. However, he didn’t remain unopposed for long.
