Charleston School of Law has taken the first step towards becoming a nonprofit school, which would leave only one remaining American Bar Association-accredited law school.
Charleston Law filed an application earlier this month with the ABA seeking acquiescence in the conversion from for-profit to not-for-profit status, according to the school’s announcement.
