A defendant in an eviction case has now gone on the offensive, calling on Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge to recuse herself from the case due to alleged personal connections to both Fulton Sheriff’s Office deputy personnel and opposing counsel.

Matthew D. McMaster, attorney for plaintiff Derrick Jackson, whose family was evicted from their home in January, has filed multiple requests for Leftridge to back away from the case, to no avail thus far.
