Vote.org, the Georgia Alliance for Retired Americans and Priorities USA sued Georgia state and Fulton County election officials Monday in Georgia Northern District Court over alleged voting rights violations. The complaint, filed by The Elias Law Group and Krevolin & Horst, accuses the state of Georgia of intentionally making it difficult to vote by requiring those who wish to register to provide original, so-called ‘pen and ink’ signatures on their applications, making online registration impossible. The Georgia State Election Board is represented by Taylor English Duma. The case is 1:22-cv-01734, Vote.org et al v. Georgia State Election Board et al.
