A jury in East Georgia’s Greene County, population 15,000, returned a $22 million verdict Friday for the family of a man killed at an off-road trail riding park there.

Adam White, an orthodontist from Chateau Elan in Braselton and motocross racing enthusiast, died on Sept. 28, 2019, while riding his motorcycle on a country trail at a 6,000-acre resort called Durhamtown, according to the complaint against owner and operator Robert McCommons and his companies. The resort includes motorcycle riding trails, cabins, a restaurant, a pro shop, bike rentals and a skeet shooting range, according to the complaint.
