A recent appeal to the Eleventh Circuit of the Southern District of Florida’s decision in one case could resurrect a circuit split over the application of U.S. domestic law to non-domestic arbitration awards.

The lawsuit in question is Grupo Unidos Por El Canal, S.A., and Sacyr, S.A. v. Autoridad Del Canal De Panama.
