Following a busy first day, the second day of qualifying for Georgia’s judicial and attorney general candidates in the May 24 primary election was relatively quiet, according to the secretary of state’s office website.

District 6 State Sen. Jen Jordan, a Democrat who had announced her candidacy for the AG’s post months ago, qualified for the seat. Incumbent Republican Chris Carr, who qualified Monday, is the only other candidate to file his paperwork and pay his qualifying fee thus far.
