Less than two months after upgrading the type of masks required to enter Atlanta’s epicenter of appellate justice—the requirement was N95 or KN95 styles—face coverings are again optional for lawyers using the Nathan Deal Judicial Center in downtown Atlanta.

The Supreme Court of Georgia issued an updated mask policy lifting masking and social distancing requirements for anyone entering or visiting “common areas” of the building that houses the high court, Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia State-wide Business Court. It also lifted masking requirements inside courtrooms.
