Toyota Motor, the Japanese automaker, ZF Friedrichshafen, a German auto chassis supplier, and other defendants were sued Wednesday in Georgia Northern District Court over an allegedly defective product. The suit, filed by Goddard & Hammontree on behalf of Patsy McFalls and Barbara Teasley, accuses defendants of failing to disclose a defect in the passenger air bag control units of a 2015 Toyota Avalon vehicle. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 4:22-cv-00049, Teasley et al v. Toyota Motor Corporation et al.
