When election season began, four Georgia Court of Appeals judges had been expected to run for reelection in the May 24 primary election.
But the governor has since appointed one judge to the Supreme Court of Georgia, leaving the remaining three to decide whether to run reelection campaigns for seats set to expire Dec. 31.
