A disbarred metro Atlanta attorney has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for defrauding his clients of more than $400,000.

According to a news release, on Feb. 10, Chalmer “Chuck” Detling II, 45, of Marietta, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Leigh Martin May of the Northern District of Georgia to five years and 10 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Detling was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $254,837.89.
