When Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice David Nahmias said during January remote oral argument that he expected to be back in person for February, the prediction seemed a bit optimistic.

The omicron variant of COVID-19 was still surging. Nahmias himself had just announced he had tested positive for coronavirus, although he said he is vaccinated and boosted and his case was mild, so he pressed on with all-remote oral arguments.
