A group of voting rights organizations and Georgia voters have filed a federal lawsuit against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, arguing the state’s newly redrawn 6th, 13th and 14th Congressional district maps are unconstitutional.

The complaint, filed Friday by Common Cause, the League of Women Voters of Georgia and three voters in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, also contends that the new congressional districts “unlawfully diminish the voting power of voters of color,” according to a news release.
