Amid a throng of lawsuits alleging its talcum baby powder product resulted in terminal ovarian cancer for multiple consumers, Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies Inc. have scored a victory on appeal.

With one ruling, the Georgia Court of Appeals tossed four lawsuits surrounding alleged asbestos exposure from talcum powder, after determining the decedents “failed to proffer evidence that other potential causes were not the sole or most likely cause of the injury at issue.”
