A $32 million asbestos verdict came down to dirty laundry.sum

The family of Kathy Lynn Weist alleged she developed mesothelioma—a rare form of lung cancer caused by asbestos—because her husband, father, and uncle all worked in places where asbestos fibers settled on their clothes. Mainly, she was exposed by doing the laundry, winning lawyer Scott Frost of the Frost Law Firm in San Pedro, California, told Law.com, an ALM affiliate of the Daily Report, in emails Friday and Saturday. She died at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband and son.
