After a 13-month hiatus, the resumption of jury trials in Cobb County Superior Court didn't require a dusting off of the bench. It had already been wiped down.
Turns out everything from juror seats to the witness stand had been sanitized, and repeatedly. Even disposable microphone shields had been put in place in preparation for the judicial circuit's first jury trial since March 2020.
