A project to fund a painting of DeKalb County Judge Clarence Seeliger—who took senior status last year after 40 years on the bench—raised $7,000 for the portrait, according to the lawyer who spearheaded the effort.

Decatur, Georgia, criminal defense attorney Corinne Mull said she was pleasantly surprised at the response from the local legal community.
