Despite courts statewide being largely in lockdown and a swelling pool of cases building up until they can reopen, newly elected Fulton County State Court Chief Judge Susan Edlein said she and her colleagues have nonetheless been working hard to keep things moving. 

“I think most of us are just trying to keep on top of our dockets,” said Edlein, who continued going to the courthouse even when it was almost deserted after the declaration of the state’s first judicial emergency in March.
