Georgians experiencing election fatigue might want to take a moment to offer solace to their fellow citizens in Clarke and Oconee counties—the Western Judicial Circuit—where there is a runoff election slated for Dec. 1, more than a month before the hotly contested U.S. Senate runoffs.

The Nov. 2  elections saw a three-way split for the office of circuit district attorney, with Democrat Deborah Gonzalez pulling 48.4 % of the 71,671 votes cast, followed by James Chafin, an independent candidate who garnered 35%, and acting DA Brian Patterson, who came in last with 16.7% of the vote.
