The chief judge of Forsyth County Superior Court closed the courthouse at 11:15 a.m. Friday after a courthouse visitor tested positive for COVID-19.

Chief Judge Jeff Bagley said in an emergency order that the individual who tested positive “had contact with various courthouse floors” and offices. Bagley ordered that the courthouse be cleaned and reopened Monday at 8:30 a.m.
