A family filed fraud claims against an Atlanta personal injury lawyer, claiming he allowed a lawsuit for injuries resulting from a car wreck to be dismissed and the statute of limitations to run out while telling them the case was still alive.

A complaint filed Tuesday in DeKalb County Superior Court alleges Champion Law Group principal Sean Campbell failed to properly notice the hit-and-run defendant leading to claims against her being dismissed, then voluntarily dismissed remaining “John Doe” claims without telling his client.
