With Thursday’s Crossover Day in the rear-view mirror of Georgia lawmakers who hastily decamped last week, a couple of pieces of legislation eyed with particular attention by attorneys fell by the wayside—with the necessary caveat that, while bills that failed to pass at least one legislative house are unlikely to see passage this session, “dead” is still a relative concept until “sine die.”
