The most stressful part of practicing law for me is achieving or matching client expectations. Many of my clients have never hired a personal injury attorney before and therefore are unfamiliar with how litigation works and have a difficult time understanding the process.

I play disc golf. There are more courses than one might imagine, the activity itself is relaxing, and the people are great. It’s not just guys playing Ultimate Frisbee. Disc Golf rewards patience, perseverance, and practice. When I play I tend to forget the daily stress of running a law office, grinding out litigation and clients who need everything fixed yesterday. I highly recommend this sport to anyone looking to get outside for a few hours, but don’t feel like running a marathon. The Professional Disc Golf Association is even based in Appling.
