The Georgia lawyers who won a $150 million verdict against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for an exploding Jeep gas tank have filed a similar lawsuit in Ohio.

“On October 20, 2017, Mrs. Deanna Gilreath of Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio burned to death in her 2004 Jeep Liberty after it was struck in the rear by a truck,” begins the complaint Gilreath’s husband, Daniel Gilreath, filed Monday in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas in Hamilton. “The rear impact demolished the rear-mounted gas tank in that Jeep Liberty, causing a raging fire, and the seat back collapsed throwing Mrs. Gilreath backwards toward the flames.”
