Despite a recent victory in a federal appellate court, the legal fight for veterans who endure lengthy delays for decisions on disability claims appeals continues for a pair of King & Spalding lawyers in Atlanta, John Chandler and Beth Tanis, who are leading the pro bono suit.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit unanimously remanded earlier this month the mandamus petitions that several veterans or their survivors filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims two years ago.
