A man arrested for child molestation, who was awarded $472,000 for his constitutional claims against a police officer after the charges were dropped only to have the judge vacate the award and order a damages-only trial, convinced the jury that he had suffered emotional pain and anguish.

But the jury also said he deserved nothing for the 16 days he spent in jail, clearing former Atlanta Police Officer Andres Facemyer of financial liability for the arrest.
