Jones Day is advising Newell Rubbermaid in its $600 million acquisition of Elmer’s Products, which sells the Elmer’s line of glues and adhesives, plus Krazy Glue and X-Acto.

Newell, a Fortune 500 company based in Atlanta, announced Monday that it is buying Elmer’s from an affiliate of Berwind Corp., a family-owned investment management company. The company distributes Krazy Glue through a joint venture with Toagosei Chemical Co. Ltd.
