The city of Atlanta announced that Cathryn Ferrigno Marchman, a lawyer and social worker, has been named the executive director of a new nonprofit to fight homelessness.

Partners for H.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities Made for Everyone) is a new 501(c) 3 formed to lead efforts to end homelessness in Atlanta. It is charged with securing private and public funds for programs, coordinating homelessness-prevention efforts across the community and aligning service providers with federal policy priorities. It will serve as the support vehicle for a consortium of local providers, Atlanta Continuum of Care, with the goal of ending homelessness.
