The State Bar of Georgia has dismissed an ethics complaint lodged against Millard Farmer by the ex-husband of a woman he represents in a custody case.

But Atlanta attorney Buddy Parker, who represents a former Columbus banker who filed the complaint, said that once his client’s custody battle over their two teenage sons is resolved, client John Murphy intends to refile his complaint. Parker also represents Murphy in a federal suit claiming Farmer’s litigation tactics while representing Murphy’s ex-wife, Michelle Murphy, crossed the line into racketeering.
