This year’s Leadership Atlanta class is 17 percent lawyers. Of the 83 people selected for the 2016 class, 14 are lawyers, including judges, general counsel, government lawyers, partners and associates at firms. Class members will spend nine months participating in leadership development and educational events organized by the nonprofit, now in its 45th year.
The proportion of lawyers in the Leadership Atlanta group is down from 21 percent last year.
