Mercer University has made permanent Daisy Hurst Floyd’s return to the law school dean’s post.

The school announced Floyd’s appointment as dean of the Walter F. George School of Law in a release issued Thursday. Floyd served as Mercer’s law school dean from 2004 to 2010 and has been acting as interim dean since February 2014.
