Renata Turner, an assistant dean at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, has been named an associate judge for Fulton County Juvenile Court, Georgia’s largest juvenile court.

Turner replaces Cassandra Kirk, who became Fulton County chief magistrate at the start of the year. Fulton Juvenile Court has three presiding judges and, with Turner, four associate judges. Last year the court handled more than 6,500 cases.
